Reasons for Cardiology consultation :

- Known or suspected Congenital Heart Disease

- Cardiac murmurs

- Cardiac arrhythmias (palpitations)

- Syncope (fainting or loss of consciousness)

​- Chromosomal (genetic) syndromes with cardiac

   involvement. Examples include

      - Down syndrome

      - Marfan syndrome and other connective tissue disorders

      - Muscular dystrophies

- Family history of cardiomyopathy or sudden death

- Chest pain during exercise
